Mike - I appreciate your post. I bought the exact same bulb sizes and spent about an hour last night looking under the hood trying to find where the bulbs insert. I also agree the light’s distance is the problem. We travel a lot of 2 lane roads out in the country at night and I really want to spot deer, bear, etc... as far away as possible. I upgraded the headlights in my Jeep to aftermarket LEDs and they are twice as bright. I love my Silverado but am really disappointed with a couple of design decisions they made. Headlight output and height of the passenger seat are at the top of the list.
so, does anyone know what to do in 5+ years when one of the headlights burn out? Do we have to disassemble the front of the truck and replace the entire headlight unit?
