It sounds like you are running out of vacuum. There is a extended warranty on the vacuum pump. Do this test, in a parking lot. At idle and in gear keep your foot on the brake pedal let the truck roll keeping a little pressure on the brake pedal see if you run out of vacuum and loose power brakes. I noticed it backing in my long driveway, by the end of my driveway I was out.
I stopped by my dealer today. The pump will be covered under warranty. I am taking it in first thing Monday.
Quick history.
110,000 miles
Perfect service history, all performed at the dealer. No mods or afm delete.
Are you kidding? Here in Ohio, all vehicles are flying off the lots. Last month when I bought my truck from the dealer he told me they have had a record month. I drove past the dealer today, all the vehicles are parked end to end to make it look full. Even all the used dealers are half empty. With interest at record low, nows the time.
Here is a trick that I did in the past for front tires. With the car still on the ground, loosen the lug nuts about a turn or so, then turn the steering wheel back and forth.
I have a 15 LTZ with 109,000 miles. Twice in the last 2 months I have had a strange loss of brakes while in reverse. The system was flashed 6 months ago. Looks like I might need a booster.
