UPDATE - got call from dealer, it is the main seal leaking required part is currently backordered so no repairs have been done yet

Purchased 2020 LT with 3.0 diesel in July 2020. Addressed the oil changes regularly as required. Up until 3 weeks ago, I'd have said I was pretty happy. However . . . . . . . . Changed fuel filter two weeks ago, at 29k miles - noticed oil residue covering skid plate. Took into dealer last week for incremental oil change and they confirmed that a oil leak exists. Returned to dealer today for a diagnostic evaluation - it's been there all day but no word yet on the issue. It does strike me odd that at 31k such a matter exists after only 15 months service. any thoughts or comments . . . . . . . . ?

Anyone find an accessory part solution for a suitable fitting cap for the 2020 Silverado capless fill opening. It seems to me that dirt particles and moisture, however minimized could effect the vehicle performance & long term maintenance. thanks
