  1. I have installed the sensors in my tilt deck trailer. They work and do have temp. The part number is 84152501. There is a photo of the display and 2 of the sensor. The cheap Amazon tool worked fine. Now I have my dump trailer and travel trailer left to do. I am going to repack my travel trailer bearings while I am at it. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  2. You might want to look on Corvette sites. They all have those for the most part. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  3. It should work. I have heard you need to hurry that way and I am too old for that. The tool will also work on my Vettes and her Malibu. So it's worth 12 bucks to me. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  4. Yeah GM thinks they are made of gold. The aftermarket should have cheaper options soon. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  5. So is the camera on the middle button at the bottom of the screen? Is it just a backup camera or is it the invisible trailer thing? Enjoy the beer. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  6. They can by releasing or adding air. But it takes longer and it's hard to get it done before it times out. I am doing 3 trailers and it worth 12 bucks to me. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  7. Mine only has one wire as well. Let us know if it works. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  8. How do you get that build sheet? My sensors showed up today. The tool didn't. But I don't expect much from Jeff Bozo. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  9. They are in fact satin. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  10. It doesn't show up on the door jamb sticker scan on mine but the dealer said it has that code. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  11. I am not sure about the half ton part. Why would they be different. I am not sure if the ones I got have the temp sensor or not but they appear to be the correct frequency. I will know more this weekend after I install them. There were only 4 sets available and I bought 3. They seem to be gone now. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  12. Not all the codes are on that list. It didn't have the one for the trailer tpms on mine. But the dealer pulled it up on the computer and it dose. I believe he said it's just the option codes not the build codes. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  13. I don't think they are gloss. If I remember right they are matte. I will look tomorrow. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  14. Yes per trailer. You can program 4 or 5 trailers plus the guest trailer has tpms programming as well. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  15. I get it and the sensors tomorrow. I will try it this weekend. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk

  17. Mine didn't have the PTT. I found them on Ebay for 75 a set of 4 new. I got 3 sets coming. I want them on 3 of my 4 trailers. I don't use my deck over much or take it far. But the dealer quoted me 150 for 2 so I got 12 for less than 4. I have a bead breaker and ordered the programming tool so I will just do it myself. Sent from my SM-T510 using Tapatalk
  18. My truck has the Midnight package and has them. I am an old guy and like chrome. But this is the first truck I have ever seen where chrome looks bad. It looks like they designed it in black and add the chrome later poorly. The front of these new Chevys is hideous with the chrome parts. I almost bought a Ford before I saw this Midnight edition trail boss. I am glad I found it. I wanted a bigger engine. 5.0 in a Ford is a bit small. I like the 6.2. Sent from my SM-T510 using Tapatalk
  19. It had the injector problems the early ones had. I replaced them with the SAC injectors. They have tips that work like all the newer ones and don't fail like the original ones. The 4/5 clutches started to slip at 220,000. The rest of the trans was OK but I had it built anyway. I was in CA on vacation at the time and Mike L is the best. My engine is not stock. It has 45% over injectors and a bigger turbo. And a bunch of stuff to support that. I haven't had much other trouble with it. It still looks almost new inside and out. I actually like the truck and will likely keep it. If nothing else we live in a rural mountain area. I can drive it when it snows and give her the new one with the auto 4WD. It would be better than her front wheel drive car. And we will both be in 4X4s.And I won't have to take my trailer down to town and haul her car home. That happens every now and then. Once you pass there the plows are hit and miss for the last 5 miles. It gets too deep for a car. I would never even consider buying a new diesel with all the emissions garbage they have. It already costs too much to keep a diesel maintained. The problems that come with that make it not worth it IMO. I really got this new one because I will be retiring in a few years. I want something newer so I don't have to buy after I retire or have payments then. The 6.2 may pull my 28' travel trailer fine. It will pull my other trailers fine. If it struggles too much with the travel trailer I will just use the Duramax. At least for longer trips over mountains and where the speed limits are high. I am sure the 6.2 is enough for trips to Oregon and California. There are mountains on I 5 in California but the speed limit is so low and they are not that steep. The 03 is still a nice truck. But a newer diesel no way. I drive for a living and have spent way too many hours waiting for tow trucks with the newer tractors. Always emissions problems and the red light of death comes on. Plus I don't know if you have noticed the huge increase in truck fires. But that's what causes that as well.
  20. My truck did not have the option to include the sensors. I found them for $75 a set on Ebay. I have 4 trailers. I bought 3 sets. One trailer is rarely used. I will Install them on my travel trailer my dump trailer and my tilt deck. I do have the advanced trailer package and it shows the set up for them. I also only have the tailgate camera. There is no plug for a camera on my truck. There is a trailer view in the camera screen. I have a coax cable under the bumper. If I add the plug will the camera work? I don't need invisible trailer. just a rear view from the trailer. I only want it on my travel trailer.
  21. My new 2020 has the cable under the bumper but no plug. It has only the tailgate camera. It has the advanced towing package. There is a place in the camera screen for a trailer camera. Anyone know if I can add a plug and camera to my truck? I don't care if it's only a trailer view. I would prefer that.
  22. I just bought one just like that. I agree about the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado being ugly. But I was going to buy a Ford. I wanted a bigger engine and Ford only offers the 5.0. I went to look at GMCs. They wouldn't come off sticker. I went down the street to the Chevrolet dealership and they had just brought that one out from prep. It's a Trail Boss LT. It has the Midnight package. They just got it the day before. It had the 6.2 and all the trailer packages I wanted. I actually like how it looks so I bought it. They also gave me some discount by doing the Tru Car price. That was a week ago. I didn't trade anything in. I have my 2003 Duramax. I don't want to sell it until I see how this one tows. Even if the new one tows okay I may not sell the Durmax. You can't do this with a 1500. Especially since it was an 80 mile haul. I got 2 loads of maple like that for free. Couldn't pass it up. Gave me 6 cords of wood. Sent from my SM-T510 using Tapatalk
