  1. I'll try. Post update tomorrow when I get a chance.
  2. Got a weird chirping noise coming from the engine. Trying to see if anyone has had this before or knows the cause. Thank you. https://youtube.com/shorts/XZC4MAt_Bdo
  3. NGK 97100 TR4BHX PSPE / NGK 94567 TR5AHX DFE design works for all LS based engines. NGK says either will work for N/A engines while PSPE for boosted only. Thought I would share.
  4. NGK 97100 TR4BHX PSPE / NGK 94567 TR5AHX DFE design works for all LS based engines. Both spark plug specs are the same except electrode design. NGK says either will work for N/A engines while PSPE for boosted only. Currently using 97100 in 6.0l. No issues.
  5. I thought about that. At a local pick and pull they charge ridiculous prices.
  6. Yeah that i believe is a 3" collector. And pipe. I'm not entirely sure. But I believe mine is a 3.5"
  7. Trying to build a custom exhaust. Tried searching for a weld on exhaust flange that fits the oem connection. The same connection I believe fits 2009-2019 maybe newer. Another person on this forum did way back in 2015. Got no reply, it was a long time ago. It seems multiple aftermarket manufacturers use the same connection. Don't know if they make the part in house or order the flange from someplace else. Any help would be appreciated. Not trying to cut the old one off my existing exhaust.
  8. Well hopefully my next sample will change. I'll skip the cleaner and try a sample then. Won't be till next year unless I magically win the lottery to afford a cam swap.
  9. Also what's probably causing the insolubles is before I change my oil I perform a intake plenum and valve cleaning service via the dirty air pcv entrance on top of the intake plenum. 1 whole bottle of BG platinum air intake, valve and combustion chamber cleaner. Maybe that's the cause from carbon getting past the piston rings?
  10. I run the engine hard which is no excuse. They labeled the engine as an ecotec but it's a Gen 4 5.3l with 190k+ on the clock. I haven't had issues with the tune and my fuels trims are running within the 3% +/- mark. With a 10k OCI I don't think 0.2 insolubles is bad.
  11. Maybe because you didn't specify about longer change intervals. Also you only have about 3k on the oil. Also you did specify that you pulled the sample that way so they followed up on that. That procedure is normal unless you pulled the sample by other means like dumping it out of your oil filter. 0w20 is a synthetic as well. I doubt they had that much to say. It wasn't an extended drain interval and they didn't find anything out of the ordinary.
  12. I don't got the ecotec. I got a 5.3l LMG Vin 0 iron block Gen IV
  13. 2010 GMC sierra 5.3l LMG vin 0. Just recieved another report with just amsoil no bg moa added. But I just got it tuned for 93 octane and been driving it hard.
  14. Sorry didn't recieve emails on this post for reply. I was running amsoil 5w30 with 2 cans of bg MOA. I'm also running amsoils dual bypass system. It was more like 15k miles. Because of the bypass my quart capacity is 8.
  15. UPR products by far has the best quality in my opinion. Massive can with multiple sections that solidify the vapors. 1 in and 2 outs. 1 for idle and low rpm the other for higher and WOT. Barely have any vacuum in intake plenum at WOT. Also have a separator for the clean side for backflow.
  16. Regear to 3.73 is my plan later down the road.
  17. Yeah a cam upgrade is out of the question. Pushing 190k on the clock and over 5000 engine hours. Might as well get a new engine before I put 3k into it.
  18. So would it be better to put wrapped stock manifolds back on? If I regear, I rather throw a trutrac in the pumpkin. But that gets pricey.
  19. 2010 GMC Sierra CC 5.3L, 3.08 gears. 6l80 trans. Perf. Mods. Intake, headers, Exhaust, Underdrive crank. 91 Octane tune. Asking if these numbers are low comparing it to others for a dyno.
