My 2014 Silverado is doing the same thing. Only way to lock the driver door is to manually push down the lock. The door switch works for all the other doors as well.

hey guys! new member trying to get to the bottom of my issue(s). I have a 2014 Silverado 1500 Z71 4x4. 3 1\2 in leveling kit with 35's. The problem Ive been noticing is hearing a popping noise coming from the front of the truck. mostly backing up( straight and turning the wheel) and when im stopping. This has been going on now for a little over a year. But now within the last month or so, ive noticed my steering wheel isnt straight after i turn and will straighten up when i go over a bump. Ive taken both tires off and looked at both sides( brakes, sway bar links, ball joints etc) even looked at the steering rod linkage. i cant fully see thet steering mechanism but its not a steering box like on my 04 silverado, its looks like a rack and pinion. anyways, any help would be appreciated.
