Dorsal Fin

Would like to get a second opinion. Just found out that if I want to upgrade to an E series tire on my GMC 1500 Sierra Denali, 22 inch rims, I'll need to install a lift kit on the front tires so they will fit. Dealer also said the 22 inch tire was more aggressive and louder than current tires. I'm using truck to tow a travel trailer and would like the benefit of a stronger sidewall tire. Looks like my only other option is to go to 20 inch rims. There are many more options of tire to choose from here. Any recommendations? What should I be thinking about here? Does the dealership need to reprogram the truck for the new tire size?
