I have a 3500 coming in about a month and I ordered the trailer TPMS sensors. I’m wondering how they install on the trailer wheels. Do they require new valve stems or in-wheel mountings?

Thanks Davester - this will be my first diesel. I understand they can take more power to start than a gas engine.

I’ve got a 2021 Silverado 3500 on order with the Duramax engine and it includes the dual battery and dual alternator option. I’m wondering what advantage this setup offers besides the obvious redundancy. Can one battery be isolated to support only specified circuit(s)? I’ll be towing a large 5th wheel RV and am wondering how to make best use of this setup. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

Thank you redwngr - the reason I’m asking is that I’ll be towing a 41 foot 5th wheel RV with this truck. Could be tough to maneuver in and out of the usual consumer lanes with this beast in tow.

All - I have a 2021 Duramax on order; it will be my first diesel. I'm wondering if the fuel filler inlet on the truck will allow the larger diesel fuel filler hoses that are used in the fill lanes at truck stops for the big rigs? Any info is much appreciated!
