I was wondering if anyone has upgraded their factory alt. I cannot find a dual alt bracket so I was just gonna replace the factory one with a 390a one from brand x. People are telling me I'm gonna start frying computers and cause damage if I do so I just wanted to get other people's opinions or talk to someone who has done that Thank you

Has anyone done the bigger alt yet? I just got a 390a from brand x for my audio system and was wondering before I hook it up and start frying ****** in my 2017 tahoe
