  1. I am really liking the 12" Mirror Dash Cam - CARCHET 2.5k Mirror Dash Cam. Good reviews. Not concerned with the reverse camera with lines it has, but you dont have to use them. It easily switches between the front cam and rear cam by command. Can have just the front cam to view, or just the rear cam to view, or both at once. Seems to be great video quality. Radar detector: deciding between V1 Gen 2, Escort IX, Uniden R3, and Cobra Dual Pro 360. Any thoughts?
  2. Man- i thought your post was on another GMC forum! In shouldn’t have doubled up here on this one! My apologies! I’m on too many different truck forums. And unfortunately each one ends up costing me money with mods and all!!
  3. I know there are threads here talking about dash cams and/or radar detectors, but they are a year or two old. Any recommendations for either of them? Cobra makes the “Cobra Road Scout” that is a 2 in 1 but i haven’t heard from anyone who has one. Im in the market for one or both. Radar Detectors: Escort seems a bit pricey? Uniden? Valentine? Cobra? Dash Cams: wow! Thousands of brands! Just need some advice- input- suggestions before I make a decision. TIA
  4. I just installed this one this morning. But ive had them on the last 3 trucks i have had. No change in mpg, ride quality or anything. They are only about 100 pounds. I consider a necessity since im around horses, cattle, mesquite brush, etc all day.
  5. Installed the new Ranchhand Grill Guard
  6. What do yall use as your interior cleaning and detail products? Ive used and am considering some of these: griot's garage 10975 interior detailer Meguiar's G4116 Natural Shine Protectant Meguiar's Supreme Shine Protectant G4016 Aerospace 303 For outside black trim pieces: CERAKOTE Ceramic Trim Coat, Plastic Trim Restorer What is you go to favorite?
  7. I traded in a 2019 Ram 3500 LIMITED DRW 6.7 Cummins for my 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4. Just didn’t need the DRW and towing capabilities of a 3500 diesel anymore. With that being said, that Ram was one of the best vehicles i have ever driven. A beast in towing! I would load up my 3 horse trailer with three 1300 pound horses, with saddles, tack, hay, etc. and it was scary because I’d forget the trailer was even back there. Power was over the top. I could load a 20’ flatbed trailer with 4 bundles of hay (over 5000 pounds) and just cruise. Never ever towed something that remotely “tested” the truck. It was unbelievable and never had one issue at all. Just my 2 cents
  8. Have you had any issues with the jumper from Boost Auto Parts? I purchased one and have been hesitant to install. Just not sure but i love the option of fogs and bright lights at same time.
  9. I have the Embark LS Power Retractable Tonneau Cover 19419848 GMC part #. Used my points to help make the price much better. Works great and very well made. It electric and opens to whatever point you want. Has a built in LED light. I have a video on YouTube that shows it, if interested. https://youtu.be/teBJljEqXuw
  10. Congrats and enjoy!! Post some pics!
  11. Ordered a Ranch Hand Grill Guard
  12. I really like the RB20’s. I am considering adding the drop down steps to them as my wife needs a little more step to get in easily
  13. The exhaust is the perfect amount of “sound” for me. Much much better than factory exhaust and i don't scare the horses when i leave the barn. FYI- it is GM part #19419433 On the CAI, i also have done a-lot if research and you're right: the brands, options, styles, etc. are overwhelming. In all this research and talking to several “gearheads”, o have decided to leave it stock and just go with a better air filter. Im not tuning the engine or altering anything else- so in my opinion, the CAI wont add that much. Again, just my opinion- as i know there are arguments for and against CAI’s that can rival political arguments.
  14. Todd here, live out in the country in Hockley County. Drive a 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 with the 6.2 gas. Traded in a 2019 Ram 3500 Limited DRW 6.7 Cummins. Before that had a 2016 Ford F250 King Ranch 6.7 Powerstroke, 2015 Ford F150 King Ranch Ecoboost, 2009 Ford F150 Lariat, and a 1990 Chevrolet Silverado. And many others prior to those in younger years. Just enjoy trucks and adding things to make them “mine”. Here for advice, guidance and ideas. Retired teacher/ coach and i now Raise horses and ranch in the quiet country life.
  15. Ordered: GMC Cargo Net: 84105423 to keep gas and diesel jugs from moving. Not sure if it will be sufficient, but has money back guarantee if not. I wanted something that is easy to put in and take out. This one just clips to bed hooks and has a built in storage bag to store under rear seat when not needed. We will see how it works.
  16. The delivery date estimate i received from dealer when i got mine was very accurate. I also bought mine that was being shipped that day. They said it would be 2-3 weeks. It arrived at dealership in 2 1/2. The dealer kept me updated and let me know where the truck was in the delivery process. Enjoy the new truck and congrats!!!
  17. Added a cheap little addition today. Cup and console liners for the entire truck. Ordered off Amazon (>$30) and came with about 25 piexes that line cup holders, console, doors etc, I think they Look really good in black with the red accents to match the interior and truck.
  18. I just installed it yesterday and it is just set on the default screen with the default PID’s. I’ll play with it this weekend more and let you know.
  19. Also forgot, added an American Trucks stubby antenna to replace the OEM elongated probe
