  1. Mine was built 11/10/2021 my dealer provided me that and the same date was given to me by the GM Exec team rep.
  2. Interesting my vin shows Bayed on January 25th vehicle status is "Picked" unsure what that means
  3. search youtube for 3500 Midnight Edition you will find a guy reviewing his already 7 weeks from Order to Delivery "Mikes Garage" Crazy I am entering 14 months since my initial Order.
  4. This is why I am curious on delivery ETA and what people are experiencing, mine has been stuck in transit status for months going to a dealer less than 20 miles from the plant
  5. Agreed and it seems that nobody has an answer as to where the vehicles are and when they will be delivered
  6. I am curious if anyone has received their truck from the Flint plant and how long it took from build date to delivery? Mine was ordered March 2021 and Built November 2021 as a complete build and is in transit lost status. It is going on almost 6 months since it was built and has yet to arrive at my dealer. Just wondering what others experiences are. I live close to Flint and see trucks moving on haulers all day but no luck on mine yet getting to my dealer.
  7. I have the Cherry Red Tintcoat on my Malibu RS so I simply could not see having 2 vehicles the same color plus my dad has it on his 1500 . I like the color also but the Midnight Edition caught my eye when I seen the first one I really like the look of the all blacked out truck.
  8. 2022 Chevrolet 3500 HD Midnight Edition LT,6.6 Gas, Z71, Leather Interior, 5th Wheel/ Gooseneck Package with Convenience Package 2.
  9. That is what I did I sold my 2008 for almost $18,000 which has given me a good down payment. I have no plans to settle as mine is a Midnight Edition 3500 LT pretty well loaded.
  10. Yeah my dealer has been great, I am just very disappointed about something that should be an exciting experience after finally being in a position in life where I can afford one. All I can say is never again will I order a vehicle, I have watched deals come and go and yet I still wait because I ordered exactly what I wanted. All I can say is I hope others have better luck than I have with this situation.
  11. On a forum in the GM Authority page Forums
  12. I called this Number 855-880-1500 for GM Exec (The regular Customer Service Line was a useless attempt) as of yesterday they have escalated a case trying to get details as to what the status of my truck is I ordered a year ago. I am supposed to hear back in the next 2-3 business days.
  13. Congratulations glad to see yours arrived. Update on mine Ordered my 3500 HD March of 2021 it was built November 10th 2021 and it has been stuck in transit status in Flint since. It is now March 17th over a year since I ordered it and still no truck No answers from GM after multiple calls, just stuck in this waiting game of not knowing.
  14. Mine was ordered March of 2021 and built Nov 10th sitting in Flint since then called GM started case pretty much told to hurry up and wait. Told me it must be exciting being this close to owning a new truck. Yeah this close yet so far from getting it. Live 15 minutes from the Flint Truck and Bus Plant 1000s of trucks parked all over flint I am pretty sure they have lost it.
  15. Pretty Sure If it is at Flint Our trucks are either surrounded by 1000's of trucks and they are unable to get to them without moving a bunch of other vehicles or they are lost in one of the various lots of 1000's of trucks and they don't know where they parked them. Either way I am unsure if they care about their paying and loyal customers. Waiting a year for a vehicle is out of hand especially when they are just sitting in transit status and not waiting on chips or parts. They are complete builds just deliver them to the dealers so customers can enjoy their Chevy before they are forced to buy another OEM's Product. Camping season is coming up and if I don't get it soon I will probably be backing out of the deal as I am tired of waiting already.
  16. Same here but I did put a down payment on the order. I get the GM family discount and the price is locked in. The whole situation is frustrating knowing I am spending all that money and it just sits there rotting and GM can't tell me anything other than its in transit you just need to wait a little longer. FFS I have been waiting a year. I am going to be looking at this thing with a fine tooth comb for any wiring being chewed mouse nests and everything
  17. Yeah I sold my 2008 Chevy 4x4 with only 89,000 miles on it 7 weeks after I placed the order for my new one because the dealer had told me I would have the new one in 8-12 weeks. I had to buy another truck in the interim to pull my camper as I wait so I am now stuck driving a 1994 Chevy 1/2 ton 2wd with 200,000 miles on it that I am upside down in due to the crazy used car market. Not only the mice and flat spots on the tires I am upset I am spending the extra for a special edition truck that is sitting outside in the Michigan Winter weather. My guess is the brakes and axles are all rusted at this point not going to be happy if it is when the truck arrives. Also will not be happy if the Mud terrain tires are not on it as they are supposed to be as GM has been substituting all terrain tires that are more along the lines of highway tread. 18 inch wheel package is supposed to be equipped with Mud Terrains but my window sticker that is on the GM inventory page reads all terrains.
  18. Did yours get built prior to the November 15th cutoff for heated seats. Mine being built on November 10th just made it before they announced they would no longer be installing them.
  19. Just an update on status " STILL WAITING " Truck ordered March of 2021 3500 HD Midnight Edition LT. Built at Flint truck and bus plant on 11/10/2021 as complete build not waiting on any parts. Still stuck in transit to get to my dealer 20 Miles North of the Plant as of 2/15/2022. Almost a year since I ordered it and still no truck in transit for over 6 weeks. Not sure what the hold up is but this is getting ridiculous.
  20. I ordered because that way I can get exactly what I want rather than getting something close. I'm just not getting it when I wanted it say about 10 months ago .
  21. Posting an update. Still Waiting Silverado HD 3500 Midnight Edition ordered in March 2021, Had to be bumped to a 2022. Went down the line and was a complete build finally November 10th 2021. Still sitting at Flint Mi Truck plant January 10th 2022. Now 2 months later after it was built I am waiting to be delivered to my Dealer 15 miles away. It is sitting in a parking lot covered in snow and ice. No rebates available on some of most expensive vehicles Chevrolet has to offer. I am not impressed at this point and getting more frustrated by the day. General Motors really needs to get their act together and start taking care of their paying customers rather than building stockpiles of half built vehicles getting shuffled around to vacant lots using all the car carriers so a vehicle I put a deposit down on back in March of 2021 and have been waiting almost a year for can be in my garage. Just my Rant but I think it makes logical sense that it should not take this long.
  22. Probably a supply issue as it is the puck system components and the 7 way wire harness with plug connectors in the bed option.
  23. My Dealer has been advising me of the constraints as we have been going along but they are options I do not want to give up as they are needed. For example the last one was the fifth wheel/gooseneck package without it the purpose I am purchasing the truck for is useless and to pay for installation afterward is more expensive than the package. the other constraints in the past alter the packages and remove the Midnight Edition Option that I want there again not looking to settle for a lesser truck. I will continue to wait for GM to get their production fixed and build things correctly. With the prices you pay for trucks these days you should be able to get what you are paying for.
  24. Well we are at the 6 Month point and still do not have my truck ordered with GM they have not been able to place the order do to constraints. Every couple weeks it is a different part they don't have available or they can't build it because this option is missing parts. You can't remove those options because it removes your package you need to get the other options you want. This is getting very frustrating, GM should be building the trucks people are ordering rather than stocking fields and parking lots full of unsellable inventory using up parts that could complete an actual order sitting there for 6 months. Just my thoughts not sure if any actual GM reps read this but I would imagine I am not the only frustrated person with this issue happening. All the while I keep watching rebates and offers pass me by monthly I would love to take advantage of.
  25. Car market is for sure crazy I found a 2020 2500 AT4 GMC today with 23,000 miles at a dealer today. started talking to the sales rep and the price is 74,000 . I sat down and built the same truck with him in the showroom as a 2022 and low and behold the new one had a MSRP of 69,000. I asked the salesman why would I pay 5,000 more for a 2 year old truck with that mileage when you can order a new one. His response was supply and demand they would not budge on the price he stated somebody out there will pay the inflated price and he will make a better commission. Needless to say I will continue to wait for mine to be built.
