  1. @2500W/T I've pushed and pulled in every direction short of class action/attorney talk and to quote GM: "Sir, General Motors never goes backwards, only forward" and then she proceeded to tell me that IF Gm were to do anything about it, I'd have to wait 8months to a year to see if they push out a refreshed update/recall. Pathetic. I'm curious on what replacements you would go with... Not out of possibility once my warranty is up.
  2. No resolve whatsoever except to be tossed back and forth between GM and the dealership, wasting time and even more fuel. So pissed.
  3. Yup! I’ve been trying to fight with GM for months now to no avail. They “don’t go backwards” with the ECM or TCM. All I want it to reset it back to stock. Never had issues before this (besides the ridiculously loud brakes and upper i-shaft 3x). We need to make enough noise to have them do a new update because this one sucked!! Made a post about it a while ago.
  4. I’m so effing pissed about this. Same here. It’s ridiculous, especially with fuel prices as they are, not to mention in Commufornia. I spoke with GM twice (two separate occasions with a woman who has no idea what she’s doing, honestly) and have been told that I’ll have to wait 6-8 months for a new update…if it’s ready by then. Whaaaaaaat?? All I want is to put it back where it was, undoing the nefarious “voluntary” recall and reverting to the previous version. Does anyone have any insight on how we can make that happen?
  5. Has anyone else experienced a significant reduction in mpg since this recall update? Does anyone have an answer as to how to revert or fix?
  6. I got it done and it has jacked up my fuel mileage substantially. Lost around 4mpg and I’m pissed. GM won’t revert it back either.
  7. Tell me about the brake issue. I’ve had nonstop nasty squealing and humming since I bought it 2.5 yrs ago.
  8. Same thing here! Just got it done last week, drove about 1600 miles and noticed a sad drop in fuel economy. On a 759 mile trip to Idaho I would get an average of 18.6-19.1 mpg. Now I’m at 16.8. Nothing else has changed except a new air filter and new oil. Dpf display on the highway came on for 40 minutes. What gives??
