  1. So after a month in the shop they replaced cam shaft position sensor and that wasn’t it. I’m pretty sure I knew what the issue is but waited for dealer to tell me first. And now my worst nightmares come true. If you’re still feeling that jerking and surging your issue is probably the same, unfortunately guys it’s a misfire caused by bad lifters. If your feeling like your truck keeps hesitating or riding over tiny bumps, surging or jerking it’s the beginning of engine failure .You need to get it in the shop before it gets worse or you could potentially destroy engine. But the bad news gets even
  2. I have a similar issue with my 2021 5.3/10S trail boss with only 1000 miles. At low rpm it seems to lurch and chug like its running out of fuel Ive taken it to the dealer and they replied it had a bad camshaft positioning sensor so after over a week in the shop Rotolo Chevrolet of Fontana CA , gave me back truck and said it was fixed. I said id like to test drive first and it was still not fixed. They tried to tell me that's how truck drives and i replied that cant be true or no one would buy this vehicle. It shakes so bad it make me nausious. I almost had an accident in freeway traffic yester
  3. Mine is a 5.3 with a 10 speed. And after sitting at rotolo Chevrolet for over a week they are telling me the stuttering. Lurching and jerkiness is a result of a faulty camshaft sensor. They say they have a TSB to replace it. Unfortunately they don’t have that part either so I have to play the waiting game I hope they are right or it will be right back in their shop waiting for more parts. I very upset with the way they handled it and I’m doubtful that they are being truthful when they say this is the problem. I think their just trying to get me back in a bad truck and convince me it’s ok unti
  4. The Trail Boss I bought 2 months ago just now turned 1000 miles and I'm already having severe transmission problems. When holding a steady light throttle the truck Bucks and lurches violently. It seems very unsafe to drive. Seems like it was always bad from the start it seem it would rarely lurch but i thought maybe it was due to the tires. But after 1000 miles it has become quite severe. you can barely drive vehicle without getting sick from all the bucking. anyone find the fix for this as Im sure dealer will say its normal
