  1. I have recently had the same problem. I had just installed manual switch on my AMP power boards. The door was open for a long time while I was doing this. I have read other post about windshields being tinted with similar problem. There thoughts were that a sensor was getting wet and drying out because after 24hrs the problem righted itself. I believe it has something to do with the time the doors are open. I initially got remote not detected and then service steering column lock. I have replaced both batteries in my remotes. Neither are recognized. I have tried to reprogram both remotes 3 times with no resolve. It has been 3 days since the issue started so no resolve after 24hours. Truck starts and remotes work by manually pushing the buttons, but i have to place the remote in the cupholder to start my Truck. I have a dealer appt in 10 Days. I will keep you posted.
