Thanks a lot for this info. It appears to me that this might not be worth the trouble of trying to upgrade to a high fidelity system. I'm used to being able to remove the whole deck and start fresh. What did you decide to go with if you don't mind me asking??

Thanks gang. may I ask another question? Regarding speakers in this truck, does anyone know the locations and sizes of the speakers? Are there only speakers in the doors and the corners of the dash? What fits in the dash? Anything in the pillars? Thanks again!

I'm looking to upgrade the stereo in my truck and I've attached a picture of something that's above my head and I'm wondering if it's for a tweeter or something?
