  1. My 21 Sierra 1500 just did this. Valve spring last week at 134 miles. Cylinder 4 Exhaust. Not happy. Fixed but I don't feel good about the next several years ahead. 5.3 built 8/21.
  2. Broken #4 exhaust valve spring. That was it. Hope the rest are good. They said when it happens it throws all kinds of codes. Brakes are one of them. codes p0106 and p0300. I would of thought the p0106 would of been the 6th cylinder. Oh well its back on the road. Now at 139 miles. Fingers crossed!
  3. I posted here because I thoght it was a GM forum and looking for others with this problem. Now its a broken valve spring. I haven't heard anymore yet.
  4. I have had this 21 Sierra Elevation less than 72 hours. these lights came on power disappeared and I made it about a mile. It wont idle and unless I'm feathering the gas it won stay running. Dealer came and got it. First analysis is the map sensor. This thing sounds bad when its trying to run. The dealer will get back to me in the AM. I almost left GM products but it was the first full size bed I had seen in along time. This is my service business truck and now I'm signed up for a lifetime of trouble as to what ive been reading here. I bought the extended warranty so I cant even demand that from them. I feel I've made a huge mistake buying this truck. I'm sure I cant back out now. They did give me my old one back to run around in. I will keep this updated daily as I'm sure this is just the start of a long list of troubles. Luckily I can pick up the two calls missed today on Sunday! Did I mention this truck has 134 Miles!!
