They did a smoke test and found that the leak was at the back of the Turbo where it bolts to the cat .I had a missing bracket and a bad Gasket right from the factory . The mechanic working on mine went to the turbo diagram and found that the bracket was missing . It took a week to get the truck back . Odor completely gone. Hope this helps . Thanks Frank

My 2022 Duramax 2500 is at the dealer right now with the same exact problem . 255 miles on the truck and the fumes at low speed and idling are nauseating .I saw black soot on a sensor on the top of the turbo . They still have the truck ,I should have an answerer to what's wrong later today . Any one had this problem resolved yet ? Thanks Frank
