    I recently had my outer tailgate replaced on my 2020 1500 after getting rear ended and I have the Kicker speaker system in the tailgate. This weekend I noticed that the gate slams open instead of the normal soft opening it used to do. the shop tightened the tension but it’s not what I remember. My question is does anybody have the speaker system and did the added weight compromise the soft opening of the tailgate or did I get a bad install?
