I have a 2014 Silverado 1500 that developed a shudder (drove to work perfectly fine but had a shudder when I left work) then a few days later I came to a stop at a light and when I pressed the gas the truck didn’t move and rpms shot up. Turned it off and back on and it went into gear but went out of gear a minute or so later. Changed out trans filter, pan had some fine shavings but no solid or large pieces. Drove to and from work for two weeks, still with slight shudder. Then went out of gear again at a stop. Hoping I don’t need a rebuild but no idea what or where to start. truck has 135,000 miles I bought it at 70,000 and haven’t changed the filter until now.
