I drive a 2014 GMC Sierra 5.3
On my way back from work I could hear what sounded like my exhaust, even feel a vibration. Only I don't have any aftermarket exhaust, only a cold air intake. It sounded like a deep vibration as if I had an aftermarket exhaust, the noise was accompanied with a vibration. When I put the truck in park, I could still hear and feel the vibration when it was idling. I can't seem to hear the vibration under the hood but when I stick my head back in the cab I can hear it and feel it. My AC compressor looks like it's spinning fine nothing looks strange there.
When I hit the gas slightly I can hear the rumble louder. It's nothing like a shake more of a vibration. I checked the muffler, the AC compressor, my belts, my muffler and exhaust, and turned my blower on and off in the cab. The blower seems to make it louder and vibrate more.
My best description of the noise is a deep exhaust sound as if I had an aftermarket exhaust. I can feel the vibration while I'm sitting in the cab.
Has anybody ever experienced this or heard about this?
UPDATE**
I turned the AC on and off repeatedly. When the AC clutch initiates, the noise/vibration gets louder and worse.
