  1. Had the Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my old 2018 Silvarado Z71, & loved them. MUCH quieter than these Goodyears, rode better, looked better, & always had all the traction I needed. Of course I'm not out there rock crawling, or mud bogging, or even driving in a lot of snow. I live in GA and have a farm up in KY and do "use" the truck off road, but don't off road in it for fun. I have 4 wheelers & SxSs for that, I'm not going to beat up my truck. 99.9% of my driving is on the roads and I expect that would be the case with almost all of us driving a stock AT4. I bought it for the small factory lift, the 4WD, & the awesome standard equipment & technology, & because it's the best looking truck on the road (IMO). I love the head-up display, the adaptive cruise, the mini-max diesel, & pretty much everything about this truck. I just wish GM would have put some better tires on it from the factory. Are there really people out there that go buy a $60,000 AT4 truck thinking they can go to a mud bogging or a rock climbing and compete? Or go run the Baja? I don't think so. This is not the same kind of truck as the Ford Raptor either, more like an F150 FX4 King Ranch.

  3. "They hum a bit but I take out the hearing aids and its all good." - customboss LOL! Guess I'll start wearing my shooting muffs or ear plugs when I am forced to go 55! I had a leveling kit and a set of Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my 2018 Silvarado Z71 and they were much quieter than these. I actually liked them! (I guess that wasn't an off road truck)
  4. I have a 2021 Sierra AT4 Duramax that came equipped with Goodyear Wrangler Duratrak LT275 65R18 tires. These are the LOUDEST factory tires I've ever heard! Only 20k miles on them and at 54-60 mph they roar so loud it's almost unbearable. Loud at other speeds, but 54-60 seems to be their sweet spot. They've been rotated regularly by the dealer, are in good balance and drive just fine, just have never heard any tire so loud. I hate to not get my full wear and use out of them, but if I don't replace them with something better I'm liable to go insane. Guess it's clear that I'm an old dude who doesn't think tire roar is cool :).
