Thank you both for the replies.... kmeleon is referring to the wireless camera, which may be my backup plan if the wired version does not work out. I prefer wired version as there is a connection port near the 7 way connector near the rear bumper.
The GMC dealer parts department told me the cable length is 35 feet, however, they were going from their own personal purchase of a camera a few years back. I posted same question on an RV forum site, and one person reported the cable length is 60 feet which sounds more like what you have EddDe... My TT is 30 ft total, so if it works for yours it should work for mine. Is your camera at bumper height on the back of your TT or roof height? It makes a big difference in required cable length and how you route.
My truck is the new 2022 and not the limited 2022, so it has completely new user interface, and 18 inch screen etc. I am hoping the new software fixes the clunky issues you both describe. So far with the existing truck cameras the software is very good in my opinion.
