    I’m taking my truck into the dealer for 3 recalls, leaking roof, same temp gauge/fan issue (been dealing with it for months) I’ve noticed the truck is now running colder so thinking thermastat and the classic service 4wd (unable to clear codes) will post a follow up once I know what’s up with the fan/temp issue

    Had the truck in auto and now it’s stuck in 4wd, does the transfer case need to be in a certain location in order to install a new shift motor? I have read that when you pull out the shift motor the transfer case is spring loaded and moves to the required position. Reason I ask is I bought a new one and installed but it was still in 4wd during start up so I took the new one out and it appears that the gears have moved. Did I just mess up this new one? Not much info out there on installing these, any help is appreciated
