  1. Awesome, I ordered the gloss white just now on Amazon for like $6, gonna try it tomorrow! So what are the black plastic caps over chrome that you're talking about? Like caps for the sensors?
  2. and did you prep the sensors anymore besides just cleaning them? Any sanding or anything special? Any clear coat after? Thanks!
  3. Awesome! Thank you! So did you just clean the sensors off and add a layer? How many layers did it take? Or how many passes did it take? I assume the chrome shine doesn't come through the paint at all?
  4. So I assume they come from factory with that chrome finish to match the factory chrome bumpers? Have you ever heard of a way to paint over chrome? I always hear its hard to do, I wonder if there's a way to strip the chrome off (assuming its "plated" in chrome) I'm not sure how they apply the chrome to bumpers and sensors, but my old 04 2500HD grille the chrome started peeling off and it was a weird white color almost cream color plastic was under the chrome "plating". I then stripped it all off and sanded a bit and repainted it black and had no issues. But that was a lot less technology on those trucks, I'm scared to mess with something that can just ring through my speakers 24/7 if I mess it up lol
  5. Just got my front and back bumpers, grille and hood vent all wrapped to match the paint color of my truck, got rid of the chrome, but they didn't wrap the parking sensors on the front and back bumpers. I'm just wondering if there's a way to paint over the chrome on them without messing them up and making them just go off constantly? Or if there's any way to replace them with white ones? Thanks and God Bless!
  6. Did you ever figure this out? I just had my chrome bumpers wrapped to match the white paint and my sensors were left chrome and it looks horrible.
