    My 2019 Sierra makes the exact same noise (whirring with rpm) when the AC is on. I notice it from starting from a stop or backing up, but not at steady highway rpm. Don't know if its normal or not. Also after sitting in the hot sun, it takes a long time to cool down (half an hour plus)

    I have the same problem as everyone else. Has happened a total of 6 times since the brake recall, but only after remote starting. Never happened while the vehicle was in motion. Of all the people here, how many instances of this failure has happened since the brake recall?
