  1. The answer is no. The third row seat will not bolt in the place of the two center captains. Finding a good used second seat might be fairly easy since there are so many of these on the road and lots of them don't use the second row seats much.

  7. Wow! You're playing fast & loose with the word "gentlemen" this morning! Michael, love the Avatar Title!!! Said the guy with the half naked canadian!!! Hey... half naked Canadians are cool too!
  8. You're an idiot. Well, thank you!!! May I suggest you run up to Walmart and buy yourself a sense of humor? I hear they are on sale this week. HA! Gentlemen... let's play nice!
  9. You are one sick man Dan...
  10. That's ok... I can dish it, so I better be able to take it.
  11. Nah... I just haven't been on the PC much this week. Been busy. Did I miss anything? Nah, not really. And nothing missed you, either. I can feel the love man.

  16. 4L60E is the common trans unless you have the 6.0. He's not saying that they are junk... just pointing out the things he has seen go wrong with them. Keep in mind, the tranny guy only sees the broken ones. This is not necessarily an indicator of the transmission's quality. No panicking guys. The sky is NOT falling.
  17. Good info. People with first hand knowledge of these things are always welcome. So far I have not experienced one single 4L60 failure (and I hope I don't) but I'll be the first to ask if I do. Thanks.
  18. They have internet in Missouri? I figured it would be stolen by the residents of East St Louis.
  19. Unfortunately, that is too often the truth. Nice new pic, Fred. Thanks Daddy. I thought it needed freshening. Way to go Fred.
  20. That's funny. I like the speaker in the door... take a close look at it!
  21. Power seats require you to do some electrical work. All they really need is a "direct to battery" power lead, 2 relays , ground to the seat and you can use the factory power controls. We've done it many times in the Tahoe / Suburban twins. It looks and works like a factory install... You'll need the harnesses out of the donor doors. They should plug into your existing fuse panel. You'll need regulators with motors, door panels with switches, door wiring harnesses, and likely the control relays from the donor truck. Another way I've seen it done is to get just the regulators with motors, install them and wire through relays to a central left/right window switch point (like the unused area where the passenger airbag key slot is). Both windows would be controlled from the center of the dash like they are on many sports cars. It would be custom but require you to know quite a bit about wiring, relays, etc. Then surface mount a pair of tweeters where the old window crank was... BINGO! Powerful Winders.
