I believe the lockout is only trucks with the keyless entry(buttons on the door handles). To my understanding it doesn't have the antenna in the rear that it would need detect the key.
I just had my truck sprayed with Krown. First time using is it, it might not be the best but its cheap to have done. I figure anything is better then nothing
Anyone else have dips or wavy floor in the standard bed? I noticed it seems to have a high hump in the middle above the axle between the wheel wells causing a dip at either end. Seems to be worse toward the cab. I checked a couple of trucks on the dealer lot they also seem to have dips or a wavy floor in similar spots. Just curious if anyone else noticed this? I'll try and get a some pictures to show what mine looks like.
I thought about it, I am indifferent about not having the rock guard. I figure it would be hard to add like how the factory does it, or it wouldn't be quite right added as an after thought. I feel like GM would not do anything about it anyway.
After looking at another truck the plug behind the license plate is for the antenna and the bracket mounts right there. I'm thinking most likely it is not plug and play, probably have to program it to the truck. Also looks like the antenna might come with something for the key fob so that might complicate things.
I have a 2024 with the multi-flex tailgate but without passive entry so the lockout or disabling of the top gate does not function. https://gm-techlink.com/?p=17915 I would like the have the disable feature if possible. From the little I can find about it I need the low frequency antenna and rear bumper antenna bracket. Is this all I would need to allow that function to work or is it more complicated then that? I would assume these are the parts as it is all I can find on Gm website for this truck. Low Frequency Antenna Rear Bumper Antenna Bracket I do not know where it is located to see if I have a plug even there or I would just get the parts and see if it works. I do have a mysterious plug right behind my license plate, I will have to look closer under the bumper to see if anything else is there.
I wonder why they didn't add it to mine. I guess it's another one of those supply chain issues. I am curious how many more of the recently built trucks do not have it.
Does anyone with a 2024 have the rock guard / textured paint on the rocker panels like GM used to do? Did they stop for 2024 or is it on only certain trim or packages?
