  1. Have you swapped over to this one yet or gotten the program at the dealer. I got another harness built by gen 5 diy and it fixed my problem only thing is it’s doing the hyperflash when pushing the brakes only.
  2. I got the hd taillights installed on my 2024 Silverado 1500 and got my harness from gen5 diy. Everything works except I had hyperflash and my turn signal didn’t work if I had my foot on the brake. I got it programmed at the dealer and the hyper flash went away but if one of the turn signals is on and I push the brake the opposite side starts flashing too as if the hazards are on. Once I let off the brake the turn signals work as they should. Could this be a problem with the gen5 diy harness? Has pgamboa made a harness yet?
  3. What I ended up doing was getting a GM performance intake elbow and keeping the stock airbox in for a smoother airflow curve. Worked good and then when the parts became available for the GM performance intake off the 2025 6.2s I got one of those airboxs. My dealer told me the refresh trucks didn’t need the calibration to put them in. Just disconnect the battery cable. So far have had no issues and can tell a difference in having the GM performance intake in. Truck seems to shift better and feels more responsive.
  4. How does it work?
  5. It was 87845963
  6. I did end up getting the performance intake part number from a 2025 Silverado since they are able to be optioned from the factory. My question is am I able to somehow get the calibration from the dealer or does the truck even need that?
  7. I’m referring to the headlight area/side fender area being sealed up pretty good by the washer fluid tank. So I didn’t see how it was pulling any cold air from that side. As they call it a “cold air scoop”.
  8. The bottom of the filter connects to the stock air intake location. Then there is no where for air to get to the top air scoop or box plug on the side. The washer fluid tank sits there. These truck are very well sealed off. You can try to shine a light through the whole front by the headlight and you can’t see it at all from the engine bay.
  9. Completely accurate. Funny thing is my truck runs way better and feels like it has more power with my stock intake back in.
  10. I don’t see how the s and b pulls air from the headlight. It’s completely sealed off.
  11. I agree. I had to keep tightening my s and b clamps on the throttle body.
  12. On my s and b the intake temps went up about 8-10 degrees
  13. I will definitely try to find one
  14. I have a borla on mine and I can say i could feel that there was a bit more power and it was better flowing but definitely nothing compared if you were going to get a tune like you said.
  15. I put an S and B cold air air intake on my 2024 Silverado 6.2 when it had about 1,000 miles on it and have always maintained it. I had been noticing that the truck seemed down on power and just wasn’t running right. I never thought it really did. I was thinking more about the s and b design with the air scoop just pulling hot air and all of the weird intake noises I got from it. The placement of the maf sensor by the pcv hose also made me question it. I have about 13,400 miles on the truck and today I was driving around and decided I was going to put the stock airbox back in it. I just thought that the s and b was not helping the truck. Right before I was going home to put the stock airbox in and got a check engine light for the first time and the truck really wasn’t running good. Pulled the s and b out and put the stock airbox in and all the codes for the maf sensor and map sensor went away. It was like driving a whole new truck. My fuel mileage went up to about 18mpg (was getting 9) and the power and smoothness of the truck was amazing. I realized that the truck already came with a cold air intake and that all aftermarket ones do is provide sound which makes you think they help when really all they do is cause problems and make the engine perform worse. One thing I did notice on the s and b was the pcv inlet tube was leaking a bit which could have contributed to some of the problem. I also think I got the s and b put in the truck before it was fully broke in so I thought it made more power but really didn’t since the truck was not even broke in yet. I was surprised because s and b was supposed to be a higher end air intake. The only performance air intake I would consider is the one made by GM. Sorry for the long thread, just thought I would put my experience in here to warn others about these so called aftermarket cold air intakes that do absolutely nothing for your truck but make sounds.
  16. I was looking to supercharge my 2024 Silverado 6.2L and was looking at the Whipple Gen 3 and the Magnusun Lingenfelter. I’ve heard good and bad about both. Just wanting some input on which would be better to put on and worth the money.
  17. Has anyoneone ran 295 50 22s on a 2024 Trailboss? I have 285 55 22s on it now and they rub. If I go to a 295 50 22 would it fit with the stock upper control arm and not rub at all on anything? Thanks!
  18. Do you know if it will any time soon or if they are even working on it?
  19. Those look great on your truck. Definitely make the rear stand out. I have the same harness you got but am trying to find some taillights for a reasonable price.
  20. Will this system work on a 2024 Silverado?
  21. Has anyone tried using the comma ai openpilot on a 2024 Silverado 1500? It shows it works on the 2020-2021 but has no information for 2022 and up.
  22. I will probably just have my dealer order it and do it. Thanks!
