Let me correct my last post. This temporarily made the issue go away but I ultimately think it cleared the computer memory. Issue came back again. The issue is the thermostat. It’s a simple replacement and takes about 20 minutes. I replaced and all issues went away and I also noticed my heat in the cabin got significantly hotter which is also a sign of a bad thermostat. I would replace both the thermostat and sensor since they’re in the same spot.

I really found this hard to believe but I had 3 temperature sensors stop working over the past 6 months and I humored myself and cleaned the terminals to my battery. (Which is original 2016 and passed the batter check). The terminal connection was tight but there was quite a bit of dust I knocked off with a wire brush. Reconnected and temperature sensor now works fine with no errors for the past 4 weeks. seems to have worked….
