  1. I had a 2023 Silverado HD with a 6.6 gasser and I did a ton of research - ended up putting the Borla S-type. The Borla sounded AWESOME and it had zero drone !!! If you go on their site or just search for Borla on 5.3L, you should find a video that will give you a real good idea of how it will sound. The Borla was also super easy on the install.
  2. I have a 2024 Silverado with the turbomax and have been asking the same question. I saw a video of a guy that put a K -Tuned down pipe muffler that didn't sound to bad. It only cost like 200 bucks. So I put the question out there if anyone else had tried one, but no replies yet. All of the others like MRBP, Borla, Flowmaster, they all sounded terrible from the videos I watched. Research K-Tuned on YouTube ( The BEST Silverado 2.7 turbo Exhaust) Let me know what you think? Overall, I am quite impressed with the 4 cylinder! Got over 4k miles on it with zero issues.
  3. Anybody with a Silverado 2.7L Turbomax try a K Tuned muffler to get some better sound from that inline 4 without making it sound like a rice burner. Saw a video with the turned down K Tuned muffler and it didn't sound too bad. Appreciate any info. Thanks
  4. Your a good man 8Rotor. I hope it all works out for you. You deserve at least that ! Happy Holidays
  5. I second that "great advice" and will be checking that option in my 2023 LTZ first thing tomorrow morning. Good thing he was right there when it happened as most people today would just pull away an take the chance on nobody seeing it. Thanks for the tips!
  6. I absolutely love my 2023 Carhartt Edition HD gasser and every GM truck I had before this one. Nothing rides like a GM and they getter smoother every year! Let's see - I started with a 75 Chevy LUV 4X4 LIFTED, then a 67 short bed 3 speed on the column, then an 84 S-10 2WD, next was a 93 WT with a V6, then a 97 4x4 Z71 - put 160 k of real hard miles on that 1500 and it took it all in stride. That 97 will always be one of my favorites. From there I went to a 2009 Sierra 1500 SLT and dove that for 155 k miles until the frame rotted so bad that I sold it as is for peanuts and that is how I ended up in my new 2023 HD. My wife had an S-10 Blazer, then went through 4 Acadias before her current 2020 Midnight Edition Z71 Tahoe. Doesn't get more GM than that!
  7. Oh, forgot to mention. I'm also a new member of the GM High Monthly Payment Club !!!!!!
