Yes, brought it to a GM dealer one morning. Cold temps, engine was not warmed up and it was "mooing". Tech said he never heard that before. That was this past winter. Hot now and the cow has left for the summer.
I did clean the MAP sensor and the noise seemed to go away. I have cleaned that probably 4 times now over 30k miles. It gets really dirty with black soot.
Yeah, my noise has come back. Strangely it was after i had the fuel filter replaced at the dealer. It comes and goes now. I just curse it and roll on lol.
I took mine in also. Tech said he never heard anything like it. Good news is lately it has gone away. I am in single digit temps and I do not hear it now. Has been over a month, no moo sounds. 54,000 miles on truck. I would have it documented and not worry about it, IMO.
Hello all. Quick story from my side. My 22 High Country was recently broken into. All they had to do was hammer out the key tumbler. Broke all the little tumblers in it and they were in and out in 60 sec. I have a dash cam. Caught the whole thing on video. These trucks are as easy to break into as the old square bodies are.
