Dealership tried to add the $5k “market adjustment” above MSRP. I walked em down to $0…all their profit is in MSRP. I’d hold firm on that They wouldn’t budge below MSRP but I assess they might over the next few months if / when supply is more in line with demand As far as ordering from factory vs sourcing locally…I got lucky and they found the exact truck I wanted within 3 weeks…no certain if it was already on its way to this dealership or if they made a deal with another location. I ordered the add ons and those were installed by dealer one week after pick up ~4 weeks from initial dealership visit to complete truck ~500 miles thus far…knock on wood…no issues. Hoping the updates worked out the gremlins

Just got this back today. Worked a chrome delete via vinyl wrap and tint. Left the small 2500 and Duramax badges untouched (slight pop)… all other chrome was addressed. Some before and after pics in the TMR color scheme.

First Post / First Diesel Really appreciate ya’ll for the knowledge and responsiveness on this site! Had some serious issues with my dealer…didn’t want to let me order one and instead wait to source one in the tri state / surrounding area. Sub optimal communication…like folks have forgotten to simply do what they said they’ll do / when they said they’ll do it. Got lucky and about a month after first dealer visit (mid-JAN)…took custody (today) of this 2500 Ultimate in rush metallic. Came in from somewhere out of state…built in Flint. Has gooseneck and snow plow package New blacked out wheels (20 in), tailgate stereo and all weather floor mats installed next week. May over time…work some other mods but for now…just happy to have replaced the 2007 Tacoma Access Cab after 17 years. Cheers
