I am new to this forum so please forgive in informalities. I’ve got a 2014 Sierra 6.2 4WD, I’ve got some low speed grinding sounds. When I go up a hill at low speed, 3rd gear 17-21 mph there is an intermittent grind that sounds as if it is coming from the under side of the truck. Very low RPM, low throttle input.
I just bought the truck back in February (used form a Chevrolet dealer) and it has made this noise a total of four times it also does it on flat ground at seemingly random times. I can repeat the sound going up hills, and I fear the worst case scenario. I’ve disabled the DOD and that minimized a lot of the infamous “shutter” or “chuggle” as I hear a lot. It does shutter a very little bit in the low speed low rpm range but the needle doesn’t bounce at cruising speed. I’m setting at 206k. I’ve only put 1000 miles on the truck since over had it and this is extremely frustration. Any help or advice is very much appreciated.
