  1. Hi everyone; I’ve had this happen a few times during the summer, now that it’s winter… it’s a bigger problem trying to defrost windows! - the fan will be full blast with high heat, and the settings stay the same but the fan speed drops off significantly! - i try turning the fan speed down crank it up, stays basically at half speed. Any ideas on a fix? I seem to have better luck here asking the forums than going to the dealer for a fix. thanks!
  2. Hi everyone! - long story short, I log my fuel and have averaged 25mpg (mostly highway but it’s combined) we left on a trip through the prairies and it’s dropped to 19mpg for two tanks now. No headwind, flat prairie roads. I don’t have any engine codes, but have the BlueDriver ob2 reader. All my dpf pressures aren’t reading anything and the exhaust temps weren’t reading. We got to our destination the truck stayed and cooled off over night, I am getting pressure readings and exhaust temps again with BlueDriver, but the mileage is still ******. Any recommendations? Maybe DC the battery for awhile and see what happens after it kind of resets? thanks for any input.
  3. Love it! - quite a bit smoother than the 5.3 I’ve found so far. I’ve done a few hundred kms towing and it’s performed much better than the 5.3 if I lived in town though and had short commutes I don’t think the 3L would be the way to go.
  4. Just switched from a Sierra 5.3 to the Silverado 3L. Cap looks better with the blue to!
  5. Hi everyone!! Look for some info on the Husky RVL flares, and hopefully some pictures. just recently picked up a Silverado and I’d like to get some flares but nothing crazy. I like the Air designs oem ones but they’re stick on with some silicon, so unsure on the longevity. I live in Canada so the freeze thaw freeze thaw would probably knock them off within a few years. thanks!
