I just did the same thing with my 2024 RST Silverado with Bose. It turned out great love the sound compared to the obviously lacking Bose system. I am not sure how or why but the bass remote control (in) on the hideaway does not work correctly. I ended up pulling that from the truck and just set the bass to a level I liked on the sub and leave it that way.
