  1. Thanks for the correction on transfer case modes. In drive mode "sport" does it return to normal once the engine has been turned off then on again? I also run in 2 hi for normal highway driving and use auto when ice, snow or rain. 4 wheel only off road or mud. That is a excellent suggestion to exercise the 4 wheel mode every so often, for me I don't use it very much and engaging will keep it turning and lubrication of moving parts. Thanks
  2. I was wondering what most drivers leave the drive mode set at ? I read the manual and know what it says, but what setting do most drivers have selected for daily driving. The choices are ....Auto, 2 hi, 4 hi, and 4 lo. Unless you are a rice farmer, I don't think many would say 4 lo, but how many leave it in Auto? Or is 2 hi best for highway and around town. Is it good to leave in 4 Auto ? Or is it less wear and tear to drive In 2 hi. It will be interesting to see what everyone has theirs set at.
  3. Sorry. I will post on other forum. But while here, have any 2500 owners experienced this issue?
  4. Hello everyone! I am looking for some help and input. Has anybody experienced this message above, and what did you do to resolve it? I purchased a 2020 Denali with the ultimate package 6.2L frost white tricoat 22" gloss black wheels about 4 months ago. It had 65k miles and looks to be well taken care of. It was certified pre-owned and purchased from a GMC dealership. I love this truck, and it is awesom to drive. This error message has occurred 4 or 5 times, usually after it is at running temperature and after a turn or when I hit a bump or go over a speed bump. The truck then has to either e turned off for several minutes or have the negative terminal disconnected for the computer reset or booted. The problem seems to happen at the worst times when I need to be somewhere or in a hurry. The truck will still operate but limited steering, just enough to get off the road. It is extremely frustrating. When researching this issue I saw one link about wire bundles behind the drivers wheel liner that were rubbing suspension parts and rubbed through to expose wires. I belive this may be the case, because twice it happened after driving over a speed bump in different parking lots. I have a PULSAR LT installed with DFM and Autostop disabled and pedal set to 3. This issue happened before the PULSAR was installed and after it was removed, so that is not the cause. It doesn't parasite from the control voltage so that won't be the cause. This fault is completely random. It could happen twice in a day or might not happen for weeks or a month. Am I going to have this issue constantly or have to search all these wire bundles, and there are lots of bundles, or is there a resolution that others have experienced that correct this problem? I did check the codes and once had a p2148 (I think that was the code) something about the accelerator pedal. If you have had this issue, how did you fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
