  1. What? I have a diesel with the 10 speed and was a victim of the valve body trans issue, that's how I ended up here in the first place.
  2. @SGrant I’m not sure if there’s any way to really know. General consensus (not lies from GM) says 462,000 is a low number. That is only the diesel models affected, however, gas models are suffering the same problems, with the same valve bodies. 462K seems like a strong number. Wonder when someone throws the BS flag and GM has to admit this is a bad idea on their part.
  3. Seems to be quite a few of us with the same valve body issue. Anyone know of a way we can see just how many have been affected by this same issue? Could be some interesting information to have.
  4. The service guy said the part number was different on the valve body they just replaced in mine. Not sure if that means they've changed the design or if it's just being sourced from somewhere else.
  5. Stumbled into this forum and post doing some research after I fell victim to the same problem. 2023 Silverado 3.0 duramax with 32k on the odometer after it threw the code on me Monday morning January 6th and wouldn't go in reverse. Got it to the dealership and sure enough it's the valve body. This is an absolute shame, second time this truck has left me in limp mode, first time was a nox sensor. I've been driving Chevy trucks for 30 years and this was my first new truck purchase, looking like my last.
