    My new 26 RST Z71 came with the 2inch suspension pkg. Still, it doesn’t look all that lifted and it certainly has its ass raised. Can anyone recommend a level kit that does not switch out the shocks?

    When I open the door there is a sliding sound as if something is opening. When I turn off the engine there are numerous sounds as if the truck is shutting down. Has anyone experienced this? Is this normal?

    Just purchased a 26 Silverado 1500 RST Z71. Been reading about the DFM issues and am worried when will my engine die. Am trying to get used to driving in manual L9. Would just like to put it in D and not have to worry about my truck dying. Am I overreacting? Any advice?

    Just purchased a Silverado 1500 RST Z71 with the 5.3 engine. To avoid any future issues created by the use of DFM, when it looks like the DFM may begin to activate due to road conditions I have switched into manual mode and L10 on the transmission. I have not noticed any issues. Am I safe in continuing this practice? By the way, this is my first Silverado, having moved from a 22 GMC Canyon.
