  1. https://www.ebay.com/sch/dokus223/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from= Take the four screws out of the lower glove box (two are underneath) and pull it out. HMI plugs are behind there and are facing down. You just press each tab and unplug the wires (they are all color coded) the box slides down and out. reverse for install. 5 minute job. Probably would have the key out with nothing on when you change it out.
  2. SOLVED for CHEAP!! Got the part today and installed it. Everything works great! It is from a 2015 truck so the graphics are even better than my original 2014 radio. Go to EBAY and find seller dokus223 i BOUGHT IT FROM HIM AND HE PROGRAMMED IT FOR MY VIN AND SHIPPED IT for $84 total. Don't know if he has any at the moment, but grab it if he does. He upgrades new trucks from non nav to nav, so I just ordered the non nav. Don't know if he sells the nav version or how much.
  3. I found a new HMI unit on EBAY from someone who apparently does upgrades to Nav. It was only $69 and they are programming it as well. I will update once I install it.
  4. Just an update. I tried unhooking the battery again for 15 minutes. I also checked all 3 fuse panels and found none burned. I put everything back together and have the same freaking thing going on. This truck is NOT under warranty so am hesitant to do anything at a dealer. Will keep you updated.
  5. Thanks, I believe those are it. Wish they came as a pair. I need the fronts as well so that is next.
  6. That's the problem I am having. The mud flaps are on that page, but the guards are not unless I'm missing them.
  7. That is exactly what mine is doing. In addition to that, the radio cuts off every 20-30 minutes and comes right back on. That started later on. I was told it was the HMI module, but wanted to ask here to confirm.
  8. Forgive me if this is covered elsewhere. I have a 2014 extended LT Silverado that I removed the mudflaps from. I don't want them, and they are GM. I want to add the little rock guard pieces instead. They use the same mounting holes as the mudflaps, so now I have exposed holes and clips. Can these be purchased by the set? Where is the best place to find these? Thanks
  9. Well I am digging up this topic again. I have a 2014 LT that has this problem. I was sitting in the truck one day eating lunch listening to the radio. I got a warning that the battery was getting low, so I started the truck. The mylink screen booted like normal, but then it went blank. That was 6 months ago, and all it does is reboot and fail, reboot and fail. The radio is only operable with the steering wheel buttons, and the backup camera works as long as it isn't in the rebooting process. I tried removing fuses, disconnecting battery, and even took out the HMI and plugged it back in. Nothing has changed. I think I need a new HMI, but I keep seeing people say that theirs came back so I have waited. Six months is enough. I can get the HMI on ebay for around $350 for the non Nav unit. I just want to make sure I'm not missing something before I drop the $$. I spoke to my dealer, and all he said was bring it in. Should I spend that $150 first or what? Any help appreciated.
