  1. That's nothing, wait till you see my new car LOL No more Mercedes, traded it in for an Aston today ;)
  2. Every time the dealer worked on mine it would come back with low pressure warnings.
  3. Sorry Jesse Thought I had posted some. I need to get a few new ones now that it is all done up the way I want it. But this is how it looked right off the lot. 2016 Tundra Platinum Edition in Magnetic Grey Metallic
  4. They replaced the shocks on mine at 5000 miles, said they were trashed. It didn't help.
  5. I know exactly how you feel, I didn't want a ford/dodge/toyota either but now that I have one I am thrilled with it. It doesn't get good gas mileage, it doesn't have as many bells and whistles but I can drive it with a smile on my face. And it has much more comfortable seats, but that is just my preference, everyone likes different types of seats. I waited a long time for a fix and it just doesn't look like it is coming. I'm glad i jumped ship and i'd do it again tomorrow. Every Chevy I have driven has this issue to some degree including the 2016 I test drove.
  6. If you have a 16 on order stay on top of the dealer. I had one on order and after 8 weeks GM still hadn't picked up the order.
  7. That is interesting, I have always suspected the smooth road jitter software but hey a fix is a fix and if it works for you that is great !!!!
  8. Smooth sailing
  9. And some of them do, the 2016 I test drove was vibrating with less than 20 miles on the odometer as I took it off the lot with 4 miles on it. As soon as I got to 73 MPH it was vibrating. They decided to keep it as a demo and two weeks later the transmission failed. it had less than 500 miles on it.
  10. If you are picking up a 2016 take it for a good test ride first.
  11. Well I drove 5 different ones and every one of them had it to some extent so we will have to agree to disagree on that statement. THis isn't the only truck forum where this is being discussed. And I can't help but wonder how many have it and don't even know it as they don't drive highway miles.
  12. Don't hold back Jesse, tell them how you really feel LOL
  13. The funny thing is that I used hose clamps to fix the sliding seat cushion issue in the Silverado based on a recommendation on this site, and it worked great LOL Of course that was after the Chevy mechanic told me that it was normal for the seat to slide back and forth because I had the Premium Package with the lane tracking crap lol
  14. He was out of bubblegum and duct tape lol
  15. Read back a few pages, I test drove a 2016. That's why I'm driving a Tundra now. And I had a 2016 on order to replace my 2014 too, but GM never picked up the order. Just guessing here but I am sure they knew why it was ordered and that is why it was never picked up. And I know I said I was out but I just got a PM from another member of "the club" and I had to come back in to congratulate him on his new RAM. Besides, this is like a train wreck, i just can't stop watching
  16. On that note, best of luck everyone. I'm out.
  17. He'll be back when he gets about 1500 miles on the clock and it starts vibrating
  18. Yup, he is the one i was talking about. I don't remember seeing any sign of him since he had his tires balanced.
  19. I drove a 2016 that did and I believe someone else did too. BUt one member bought one and said it did but they balanced his tires and now it's fine. But we haven't heard from him in a few pages so who knows.
  20. Swearing wheels are an option, I wish I hadn't checked that box
  21. And Jesse accounted for 30 of the 38% lol But I'm guessing of the 591 different members who have posted less than 91 of them were chiming in to say they didn't have an issue.
  22. Trust me, if they could have gotten me one that drove like this Tundra I'd be all over it. I love all the little bells and whistles but the vibration was a deal breaker.
  23. Agreed, I'd say they are 5 years behind in the electronics department but it is a stable platform. And I have been getting 16.4 MPG around town so I am happy with the fuel economy. It is in the same range as the 6.2 SIlverado I was driving.
  24. He replaced his with a RAM, I went Tundra. But most of the members who have opted out have gone RAM. I had only one option as RAM and Ford are too tall for my garage.
  25. I test drove a 2016 two weeks ago, I'm driving a Tundra now. If you can walk away at no cost you should give it serious consideration. And i've been a Chevy guy since 1979. Now I have a Toyota and a Mercedes in my garage.
