  1. Well at least you made improvements in some of the ride characteristics. And you are not the first to question the torque converter. Anyone get a 2017 yet ?
  2. If my instincts are right they are glad you are gone.
  3. What model did you go with ? I was told my rear shocks were completely shot with something silly like 1500 miles on it lol
  4. No, but her mother finished 6th at Westminster.
  5. I can't afford any more new trucks, i have to feed her lol
  6. $115 an hour comes out to $239,200 a year, assuming 40 hours a week x 52 weeks. That may be what they are trying to charge back to GM but that isn't what they are paying their tech. If it is I'll give up my job as a communications engineer and learn to RFB tires lol
  7. Congrats on the new Tundra DALaws, and i'd agree with your review. I have the premium sound system but it is still under powered. Sounds nice just not extremely loud. But I hear the amp is an easy swap. The dealer I bought mine from installs aftermarket remote starts I get over 3/4 of a mile range. Not as good as an app but it has served me well.
  8. How sad would it be if a big box of diapers store can fix this but GM Certified Service Centers can not LOL
  9. Halifax MA, anywhere from 500 to 800 cars every Friday night. One of my old cars Sorry for the hijack
  10. Hope it stays that way for you
  11. There is a large cruise night on Friday nights in the next town over, just out driving around and there were old school V8's everywhere. It looked like 1972 out there
  12. I'd be in if the stereo can play a loud v8 noise for me lol
  13. Nice to see they have it all under control ;)
  14. And what is the latest word from our friends at GM Jesse ????
  15. Some have had their issues resolved with new ring and pinion and some with new rims and tires but no real cure all that any of us have heard of. But go back 4 or 5 pages, there are links to a couple videos about isolating the e-brake cable. Couldn't hurt to try.
  16. I hear the new Nissan is nice lol
  17. Sad part is you are probably right, i just don't know if my Toyota dealer cares or not as i've only had to go there for an oil change.
  18. Congrats on the new ride, and in this case the last thing you'd want is to get up to speed on this problem. Go enjoy your truck
  19. I still think the best truck for you is a Ford Jesse, you like all the bells and whistles and Ford has them, lots of them.
  20. Someone find me a perfect truck and I'll be happy to buy it, I thought that Chevy was going to be it but that just didn't work out for me. And GM's response to the issues made sure that I would never come back.
  21. Thanks for the clarification, nobody ever said Tundras "supposedly have no complaints". Just go to one forum and have a look, the vast majority of threads are of a different nature than this one, they are typically of people enjoying their trucks or having fun modifying. GIve it a shot http://www.tundratalk.net/
  22. I'm sorry, but I'm having a hard time following.
  23. Are you a member of many Tundra forums ? I am and I don't see much complaining at all. The vast majority of threads are about having fun with their trucks.
  24. this one is really interesting too
  25. Congrats Trey !!!!!
