You forgot to add Driver sensitivity to vibration on your list RT, GM has tried to blame it on that. Even in my case they tried it, funny how my sensitivity was cured by Toyota. But the co pay was kind of expensive lol
-
Oh it wasn't a guess. Those of us who have been at this for 3 years have seen and heard it all. Happy New Years everyone. Now get out of your trucks and go vibrate in much more fun ways lol

MPG sucks like the Tundra, I'm getting 16 but I haven't hit the highway yet. I'd say the faster you go the lower it will go. But it rides great and like most Toyota products it is functional not fancy. Quiet interior with an easy to use NAV system and extremely comfortable seating. I went Limited as I didn't need the DVD entertainment system in the Platinum. But by doing that I still get Blind Spot monitoring but not rear cross path detection. And the rear window goes down just like Tundra so that is an added bonus. Hope that helps, if you have any more questions just shoot me a PM so we don't hijack the thread.

Not to burst your bubble but many have noticed a short term improvement after their truck has been up on a lift. I am sure they put your's up to pull the drive shaft. Then a few days later. as it settles, it starts to vibrate again. Hope that doesn't happen in your case but just be aware that it is not unheard of. And no more Tundra for me, I decided to go SUV for awhile so I grabbed a 2017 Sequoia yesterday. I'll beep and wave as I drive by my old Chevy dealers tomorrow lol

None, it was great

Trust me, I was too until this. Been driving GM since the late 70's. Once this happened I want from a Silverado and a Corvette in my garage to a Tundra and an Aston. I'll never go back.

But softail, you already solved the mystery. It's a drive shaft issue and if everyone just listens to you and has their shaft trued then they won't have anymore vibration. Right ? So why so grumpy lol
-
Actually decided against switching to Ford, I'm just going to update the lighting in the Tundra with something more powerful than a birthday candle lol
-
Spill it Jesse !!!!! LOL And from the Ford web page, standard equipment tab: Quad Beam LED Headlamps Not that I was looking or anything lol
-
Congrats on coming out Jesse lol
-
It's your tires lol

I've seen a couple of folks saying they did have their drive shaft checked after your post. I haven't seen any of them jumping up and down about it fixing their issues, have you ? Maybe I missed it ?

For any of you on the fence about opting out, you have to ask yourself is it worth the time and energy. One of these vibrators is like a toothache. I've been thrilled ever since I had mine taken care of, as are others who have done the same. I get it, it sucks losing money but this issue is just so damn frustrating and time consuming that it just isn't worth dealing with it. Lose the money and get your life back.

Move along, nothing to see here. Jesse doesn't live here anymore lol
-
And that means you have had to endure this entire thread, my condolences

For a long time people have suspected that system/software with being the root cause, I wouldn't be shocked at all if it did lead to a resolution.
-
If it was warped rotors wouldn't you get increased vibration when braking ?
-
Trust me, i never thought I'd be driving a Toyota. I used to call everyone who drove one a communist lol
-
Sorry to tell you guys this but GM couldn't care less, they already have your money.
-
I don't think I ever heard brakes mentioned.
-
Glad to see the ordeal is finally over Jesse, best of luck with the new ride.

I know I know

I think that would be the V6 AFM vibration ? I think there might be a service bulletin for that one where they reprogram and of add something to the exhaust ?
-
Actually I think lug nuts were blamed once LOL Now off to the farm to pickup my turkey Happy Thanksgiving everyone !!!! http://bongis.com/
-
Well at least they are admitting there is a problem and are trying to fix it lol
