I’ve seen them for $200/ea now that Ive looked in a few places. still crazy.

To be clear. I get it. It's a sealed unit and you cannot replace a bulb. But if your brake light bulb part fails (used most often) you're on the hook for well over $200. This is an improvement? Not imo.

I was wrong about price. ONLY $230! Absurd!!

Tried replacing my reverse light bulb today. Someone said you can't because they're led's, and I didn't know what he meant. But it appears to be one sealed unit that you cannot replace bulbs on. Is a bulb replacement really going to cost $500+ (I'm guessing).

I started another thread to inform people that the dealer ended up replacing my whole radio and it's finally working. About time/nice to have finally working.

After going through ALL of the resets, delete, add back on, lock the door, and the dealer even tried (I don't know why) replacing the usb port, gm authorized a radio replacement and all is well. Phone worked before but no waze, spotify, and a dark apple car play. PIA but good to have it working. Just wanted to share. 2023 Sierra Denali 1500.

Agree on not buying something cheap. I can see issues with wiring/computer/trailer etc. Thx all.

I've used kamikaze ism1.0, and the 3.0. Great stuff. Take the time to do a proper prep. DIY only way to go!

Yikes, over $300 from gm. Seems pretty steep. Some on amazon that are rigid and around $100 look pretty good.

Which one do you have Gemarsh? Chad: Without looking at your unit, when you say control module?? The cheapo ones I have seen have the 4 point male plug to go into the trailer hitch. I was wondering if I could cut that plug off and tap into the appropriate wires? Thanks guys.

Someone posted you cannot put brighter back up lights in as they're led . Is this true? I have a 23 Denali 1500. Are those strips that adhere to the lower part of the tailgate that plug into the wiring harness any good? They work with blinkers, reverse, and hazards.

Waze/car play has never worked on my 23 Sierra Denali. I have a one year old I phone and it works perfectly on my 22 vette. The waze icon and spotify show up on the side in the vette. Dealer just checked it for a third time and wants to order a whole new radio. They just replaced the usb port which they said could have something to with it. Makes no sense to me. Works seamlessly and wirelessly on the vette. One weird thing is after replacing the usb port the spotify worked for the first time. No icon but it worked. Rebooted everything to no avail. My phone has always worked fine, and text messages show up on the screen. The car play icon always looks dark. Any comments appreciated.

How do I get the waze icon to show up in the display? Or waze to show the map on the screen. Supposedly my I phone is linked, but I'm not sure if it really is. Definite possible that it's user error! 23 Denali btw. Works fine on my 22 C8.

The radio on my 23 sierra denali blinks off on it's own, and happening a little more frequently lately. It's not a reception issue. Have an appointment in two weeks at the dealer. I asked if they knew anything about it and they didn't. I have heard of other people with the same issue and was hoping for some info prior to taking it in. Appreciate any comments.

Pro clip looks good but not for denali. Any suggestions?

Crazy that new 22's are still arriving! They still have more on the way. I bought a 23 Denali a few weeks ago for 5k off. Check out cardinal or laura if interested. More discounts coming imo.

I'm cheap but spent the money on the retrax pro mx and so far very happy. Install was very easy and would be a lot easier second time around. Love the clean look of it. Washed myself the other day and all was dry inside. Rolling has gotten a little easier now that it's been on for a few days, and I hope it gets even easier. Just have to down size the tubing to fit through the existing drain holes.

If they'll do the $1400 for both ways and 8-10 less grab it! Who cares your truck is on open transport? How do you think it would get to your dealer down the road if you ordered new? I got 5k off, $870 to ship, $1200 in cc points. Still a far cry from the 10k I think the discounts should be, but I finally caved and a hell of a lot better than msrp around here.

Have you checked quirk? They're starting to come around on pricing. I feel pricing has to drastically change, if not now then very soon. Having said that I just purchased from someone same distance as laura. No trade. Shipping was supposed to be $820, wound up at $870 and that was pulling teeth to get there. Shipping went fine in the end.

Dealer found one and mailing today! Thx for the comments and especially pics.
