  1. Thank you so much! I saw 50 on an older truck for what I think it the same thing but just felt awfully high for what it's feeding so was worried I'd eventually damage something. This makes me feel good about the choice. Thanks again for the help!
  2. Yep, I have. You hit the nail on the head of what I'm struggling with here. I guess I didn't consider it was a 2 prong fuse that shifted position. It's absent in my first image though so I need to try and source that part, but I also don't know which cigarette lighter it's referring to as there's 2 of them. One on the front dash, and one in the rear. What does RAP power stand for ? EDIT: Retained Accessory Power, got it. Does that mean "On" when in Accessory mode? Trying to find the amperage and a model number of the fuse I need but struggling.
  3. I'm trying to install this: https://boostautoparts.com/products/2019-newer-gm-charging?options=&year=2019&make=GMC&model=Sierra 1500 And before I went ahead and made permanent mods to the trip pieces (drill holes) I decided to try charging my phone before I put it back together and it wouldn't work. Further troubleshooting and neither of my accessory/cigarette lighters function, front or back. All other USB outlets seem to function just fine. This particular device plugs into the accessory/cigarette lighter wiring hardness in back, underneath the two cup holders. Anyway, tried a meter and couldn't get any voltage at either so went hunting for the fuse(s). Found this site (https://www.startmycar.com/us/gmc/sierra/info/fusebox/2019/gen-g5) which seems to explain it well and seems to match my manual but for the life of me, nothing I try works. The manual and the website seem to indicate that F28 could be it, but what I have (passenger side/front/front) doesn't match what I find when I open it up. It's close, but not the same, but still empty. If I flip this around and look at the other side, there's 4 more that seem to match the diagram at least. I don't have fuses/breakers in the bottom 2 slots there which seem to might be for 2021+, but the top 2 I pulled out, tested continuity, and they are fine. Close up shot of them: Am I even in the right ball park here? Anyone else able to check their truck to see if I'm supposed to have the bottom 2 slots filled up? I tried moving the breakers from the top 2 to the bottom 2 and it didn't change anything I could notice. If I'm supposed to have something in F28 in my first picture, it's 3 prongs and doesn't look like what's in my manual.
  4. My AT4 got clipped by the lawn service at work today and I was livid. Fortunately though, 99% of the damage is on the end cap plastic and even though it was gouged, looks like it can be easily replaced. Since the parts are cheap and going after the lawn service will be a nightmare, I was just going to replace it myself. Is anyone familiar with how this is inserted? There's a few screws on top but looks like it's in more than just those screws holding it in there. Bumper Break Out - Scroll down to the second batch of parts which I believe is what I need as it has the dual exhaust heat shields and the 1st does not It's part 12 that is damaged and part 18 is an insert pad which I don't know is a onetime insert type of thing and has to be re-bought or can be re-used? Definitely have to replace this: Bumper Step Pad Bracket - GM (84227861) Unsure if I have to replace this: Bumper Step Pad - GM (84227859) If anyone had any experience with the bumper or perhaps a shop manual that explains how it comes apart/goes back together, that'd be fantastic. I don't want to damage the bumper itself trying to replace this plastic
  5. Doesn't that part number represent the painted ones? https://www.shopchevyparts.com/exterior/2019-sierra-1500-fender-flare-set-onyx-black-paint-front-and-rear-sets/84269334-p-92300999.html I've thought about them on my Black AT4 but it seems less necessary since the stock ones are already black, just black plastic instead of the black painted body color. Lot of money for not much gain.
  6. I tried to search first before I posted but couldn't come up with anything. Glad you like them though. My truck is back as well and I didn't do anything with the stock red accents other than the led emblem on the front but still red.
  7. Anyone here used these? I made a customized one in their tool to add the AT4 logo but curious if anyone has any experience with them. Youtube video of the install on a Silverado:
  8. This thread is for 2019/2020 Sierras and Silverados. I don't think you're going to find any answers here for your vehicle.
  9. Does it look that bright in person? I always think other people's looks brighter than mine.
  10. I guess you are right. Didn't notice it on mine at first. Many pieces can be ordered pre-painted though so that's dissappointing.
  11. Which trim do you have? I don't think my AT4 has a painted grille.
  12. Ah yes, keep forgetting that
  13. Because people will pay it, lol. Thankfully I wanted the red ?
  14. They should just snap right in. How aggressive were you removing the existing emblem?
  15. I installed my speakers and light kit on Saturday. I'm pleasantly surprised with how it sounds and how it turned out. I don't know if it's because my expectations were low because people on this forum really complain about them a lot but I really like them. Just curious, what's the longest you've gone playing them without starting the car? I can't seem to find a suggested hourly duration that's safe on the battery other than "hours". Also, what's the capacity of the battery in your truck? Mine's just a standard 1500 AT4 so stock battery but not sure if the larger trucks come with 2 batteries as that used to be an option years ago.
  16. I paid $530 during a Memorial Day deal from a reseller via eBay and installed them on Friday. After reading so many complaints about them on these forums, my expectations were low but I went ahead and bought them anyway. I actually really like them. They get extremely loud, which makes sense for 100W (50W per channel). This is far more than most portable bluetooth speakers. They are light on base of course and are certainly expensive, but they serve their purpose, look cool, and are very convenient. Assuming they last a while, I'm happy with the purchase.
  17. I just finished installing mine on my 2019 AT4 on Friday. So far, I like them quite a bit and am pleasantly surprised after seeing so many here say how much they hated theirs, my expectations were low.
  18. I guess I'm in the minority but I just added this to my 2019 AT4 and installed myself. I really like it. I have the truck in the garage and we can listen to music with the kids in the couldesac I live on. They get loud. Very loud. They don't have much base but no portable bluetooth speaker really does either. This is all coming from someone that has spent thousands on high end speakers for my home theater setups. Any system will have some drawbacks and this one is certainly expensive, but there's actually quite a bit of engineering that went into it's design which you can't really appreciate unless you've installed it yourself. Maybe me and the kids don't listen to music that make it sound bad but I've heard anything from 90s Rock to Moana and it serves it's purpose and then some.
  19. How's the finish? Does it "match" ? Worry that the 3M tape will potentially damage the existing grill if you change your mind and want to go back?
  20. Overlay? Does it snap on or is it a grill replacement? Where'd you get it?
  21. It's all wired in together so I doubt it. To "replace" it you would need to rewire a new harness which isn't how they do things in 2020. They just slap a whole new one in since it takes 1/4 the time.
  22. The brightness could be a little brighter I feel. All of the pictures in the thread make it look much brighter than it is in person. Part of it might be making sure it isn't distracting to oncoming drivers maybe.
  23. I'd say it's not possible unless you remove the grill, which doesn't look to be too difficult but I didn't attempt. And even if you decide to switch back, you can order another one like your original. So the risk isn't that great.
  24. Nice. I'll probably end up going the opposite direction and get the calipers powdercoated red These really are beautiful trucks. Any color combination looks great to be honest.
