  1. Hmm. Having not read this first, I just (moments ago) successfully played a video using the "under the flap" usb connection. (I have a 2014 Silverado Crew Cab LTZ). I upgraded my radio and HMI recently, but did not make any changes to the USB connections.
  2. Did you? I want to do this not for the 4G, but for the local wifi and connecting Androd Auto via wifi instead of usb. I have already upgraded my radio and HMI to allow for aandroid Auto.
  3. Did you ever solve your issue? Mine is acting up as well, but the opposite problem.. it randomly stops working. I've pulled the module out, and I think it might be an issue with the ground, but I can't figure out where the ground is located. I get a 11.9v difference across the unit when it is not working, and a 12.0v difference when it is... which doesn't seem enough to create problems with the receiver, but I'm at a loss otherwise. Here's the thread of my problem: https://www.silveradosierra.com/electrical/2014-rcdlr-tpms-keyless-entry-intermittent-crewcab-t741673.html
  4. Same issue here. Watching for someone to have found the location of the issue. I found a service bulletin of the same issue on newer models of Chevys. In the bulletin, they describe the intermittent problem (like I have) means the trouble is closer to the "antenna amplifier module" .. but looking at the diagram on my phone doesn't make the location clear. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2017/MC-10139215-9999.pdf I will go poking around and report back if I find anything.
