  1. Gonna leave everything apart for awhile and hopefully we have a hard freeze again and I can get it to act up again then just disconnect/ swap to verify that’s the problem. Plus I get my fancy diagnostic tool (icarsoft CR pro OBD2) today and hopefully it tells me something.
  2. Gonna wait until it starts acting up again then swap it to verify that’s what my issue was with my locks constantly locking. In another post, my trucks locks were acting crazy and constantly actuating and I narrowed it down to this thing or the Body control module. Fairly certain the receiver is the problem. I just started using my rear defrost and as you can see, the thing is butted up against the discharge.
  3. Funny thing is the locks stopped acting up. I think it has some to do with the fact that I just started to use the rear defrost a lot lately and the damn thing is right next to the discharge.
  4. Found it. Its in the rear over head just right (passenger side) of center, next to the rear window.
  5. Found it. It in the rear over head just right (passenger side) of center, next to the rear window. Whenever in doubt, call your local service center and talk to the parts department.
  6. Got it. Yea, the C pillar passenger side is the trim panel I took apart and found nothing.
  7. Not sure what you mean “C” pillar trim. The trim in between the front and rear seats?
  8. I can’t find anything online nor in my Haynes manual for the location of the remote keyless entry receiver on my 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE Crew cab. I’ve pulled apart the rear passenger door panel as well as the trim panel next to the rear window passenger side. Any help is much appreciated.
  9. Pulled the trim apart rear passenger side by the rear window and nothing, just wiring for rear cab light and window defrost. I even pulled apart the door panel with no joy.
  10. I have a 2014 Sierra 1500 SLE. My door locks just started constantly locking/ unlocking by themselves. It only happens when the battery is on, like when I unlock it or open the door or when it’s running. I’ve checked mostly all the wiring, and fuses. Disconnected the battery numerous times. Checked all the grounds. Disconnected both door lock switches, still does it. Took apart my remote key just in case it was telling it to lock. I even disassembled the Body Control Module (BCM). I ordered an OEM BCM specific to my model and year. I also noticed, while it was sitting with everything off that my radio screen lights up intermittently. This is why I think my BCM is bad. 2 questions: 1: will I have to program the ordered BCM? I know if I made upgrades I would but I haven’t and the truck is still stock. 2: Where is my keyless entry receiver/ transmitter located on my truck? This is one of the only things a haven’t ruled out. Any helps is much appreciated.
