  1. Put in my 9pc bull ring kit finally! So far I like them alot.
  2. That looks good. I actually ran my 2/0 welding wire through the firewall hole. I thought it would be really hard but wasnt too bad really. Actually fit in all the door channels too.
  3. Built a 2" rear seat lift today. 2" square tubing 1/8" wall. 20-1/2"x1.5" bolts with lock washers and nuts. I welded the bolt so it acts just like the factory studs. Did have to cut about 1/2" off the factory seat studs so I could get my ratcheting wrench over the factory studs. If you lift the seat all the way up, you can fold the backrest down too. My purpose for this was to gain room for 2 big 8" subs, and I'll have some storage on the drivers side as well.
  4. Hey bud, this is a stock wheels lifted thread lol
  5. I say blue. And I also say that looks badass! Where did you get it?
  6. I have factory ranchos on my 18 z71. About to roll 1k miles on it. Honestly they ride good on small bumps and such. Small pot holes I dont even feel. Large bumps and speed bumps are kinda rough though. I am happy with them so far. They are firm, but I like a truck to feel like a truck. My uncles 17 without Rancho shucks feels soft and mushy. Like my 04 yukon xl... I prefer mine for sure.
  7. Yea I was afraid of that. Ah well. I just dont like the idea of cutting out insulation to fit an amp. And my amp isnt exactly small lol I'm still in the planning stage, still need to pull it all apart and run wires and build a custom box. So it will be a little while till I figure it all out. Thanks alot! Truthfully I dont need access to it very often, I use a nice remote bass knob so I really shouldn't need to get to it. But the factory radio also leaves alot to be desired when it comes to tuning...
  8. Na my subs will be going under the rear seat, but looks like my DD m2a would fit in the console fine where your new sub box is located. Just wasnt sure if there was a easy way to access it or not. Sounds like there isnt.
  9. Soo... having never torn apart one of these consoles, if you put your amp inside the console where the current bose sub is, can you pull out the inside of the arm rest part and reach it to make adjustments?
  10. Did the fogs with low beams diode, and the cargo with reverse diode. Super easy. Bought a 50 pack from amazon for like $6 lol
  11. That might be going on in my truck as well. I swear my subwoofer doesnt work. But I havent checked the rear speakers. I also havent called the dealer yet either. Wanted to verify how it's supposed to sound before I drop it off for a whole day. 18 6.2 sierra as well
  12. I have been wondering how those actually come out.... way to go GM lol.... I cant believe they dont supply you with enough to fill all the holes in the bed. But I'll be buying those bull rings instead.
  13. Me either... I'm wondering if my bose sub is even working. With the volume up, you can feel the doors vibrating, but feel absolutely nothing when you touch the console. I would think if the sub was working your would atleast feel a little bit.
  14. Nice! I almost went that direction, but I'm going to build a sub box/storage box under there instead. I swear you cant even tell I have the bose sub...
  15. Debadged the tailgate, and painted both GMC emblems black! Very happy with how it turned out! 2 of after and 1 of before Still have to remove the texas edition emblems tomorrow
  16. I havent done new truck lights but I prefer using a heat gun on my 04 yukon. Did a quad projector retrofit on it. Just heat the seam with a heat gun and once it's hot start spreading with a screw driver or a plastic pry tool.
