  1. I ordered a 2025 3500 AT4 the second week of November and got the "order received" email from GM on 11/27. The last week of December, my dealer told me it had been produced and gave me a VIN. GM's chatbot hasn't updated beyond "moving toward the production process," so it's definitely not accurate. Yesterday, I transferred to a live agent from the chatbot--the agent confirmed it's been produced but had no other updates. She said they no longer release event codes to customers because it causes confusion. My dealer simply says they'll know more once it's shipped. I'm excited to get it--a couple of weeks with no updates feels like a long time What's the experience here wrt time between production and shipping? I'm sure GMC wants to get these shipped and invoiced asap after production. I'm sure there are reasons for the delay between production and shipping, but it's very opaque even to the dealer.

  2. A female dwarf went to her gynecologist for an annual check up. "Any issues or concerns?" asked the Doctor. "Well, now that you mention it, I have noticed that when it rains, my labia gets a bit red and sore." "That's very unusual", says the Doctor, "Hop up on the table and let me take a look." She does, and after a few minutes of checking, he said, “You can get dressed again. "There doesn't appear to be anything wrong at the moment, but next time it rains and you get the same reaction, I want you to come straight in, okay?" About two weeks later, after two days of steady rain, she was in a fair amount of discomfort and headed back to the Doctor's office. The Doctor had her stand in front of him and told her to lift up her skirt. Examining her for a few moments he said, " You're right, it's very inflamed, but I think I see the problem." He went to his desk and grabbed a pair of surgical scissors and sat back down in front of her. "This won't hurt a bit," he said, as the scissors neared her crotch. She was so afraid that she had to look away. After a couple of minutes of cutting he tells her, "Okay, you can let your skirt down now. Try a few steps around the office and see if that's made a difference." Cautiously at first she took little steps, then her eyes lit up as she took several big strides. "Oh Doctor," she exclaimed joyfully, "That's such a relief, what did you do?!" "Not much," he said, "I just cut about two inches off the top of your rubber boots.”

  3. I’d like to swap the grill bar on my 2024 WT from black to body color (sterling grey). Does anyone know if this part is available separately from the grill? GM Parts Direct and others show the grill bar as an individual part but then don’t list it for sale. (They also don’t seem to list the full grill for sale either) I’m not sure if it will only come primed and I will have to paint, but either way I’d prefer obtaining a new bar vs just trying to paintwhat I have. I see full grills on eBay but they are expensive and more than I want to pay just to change the color of that component. So I figured I’d give it a shot and post the question.

  5. Years ago when I was still a drinking man, I was stumbling through the woods, one day, totally drunk, when I saw a preacher baptizing people in the river. I proceeded to cross the river and the current ended up sweeping me into the preacher. He grabbed ahold of me and was almost overcome by the smell of alcohol on my breath, whereupon he asked me, “Are you ready to find Jesus?” I shouted, “Yes, I am!” So the preacher grabbed me and dunked me in the water. He pulled me up and asked me, “Brother, have you found Jesus?” I replied, “No, I haven't found Jesus.” The preacher, shocked by my answer, dunked me Into the water again for a little longer. He pulled me out of the water and asked again, “Have you found Jesus my brother?” I again answered, “No, I haven't found Jesus.” By this time the preacher was at his wits end and dunked me in the water again but this time held me down for about 30 seconds and when I began kicking my arms and legs he pulled me up. The preacher again asked, “For the love of God son, have you found Jesus?” I wiped my eyes and caught my breath and said to the preacher, “Are you sure this is where He fell in?”

  6. Everyone lives in some sort of bubble. I lived in NJ and Texas. And have traveled and worked all over. My wife is an army brat. People can mean things differently than they are perceived just by living in different parts of the country. I understand NewYorkers slang and meaning as well as Texas. One of my first learning experiences in Texas when moving there was at a restaurant. The server asked me if I wanted a coke. I said yes. She said what kind. That meant all soda. Instead of just saying soda in the first place. When you hear I want to take over your country. That means let’s work together. Your attention was peaked by design.

  7. No, when the temps get cold the truck is much louder until it warms up. You can really hear the engine during that time which I like. I notice it most when it dips below 10deg F.
