  1. Jl audio is much better than Bose. Bose are junk. They have been since the late 90’s when I was into car audio. Always been a laughing stock.
  2. Run 87.
  3. 2022 2500 gas. 17,000 miles. Basically only drive when the whole family goes somewhere, when I need a truck or a big snowstorm.
  4. Do you have a second truck that you will drive next to the catch can truck to compare the two? More of a joke but there is no way to compare how yours is stacking up to a truck without the can. these trucks are used and abused by companies for a couple hundred thousand miles all day long. None of them have a catch can.
  5. It’s my personal opinion that the only one benefiting from this is the manufacture. It’s completely unnecessary.
  6. There are multiple very long threads on this contraption. A quick search will give you plenty of reading to decide if it’s right for you.
  7. It takes less than 1 second to glance over to turn a knob. I don’t recall the freeways littered with wrecked vehicles pre auto cc from ppl making deadly adjustments going down the road. Just a little ribbing but really. Not a big deal. Huge tablet sized screens needed to do most things in modern vehicles are way more attention demanding than a basic hot cold dial.
  8. I also put amsoil severe gear in my rear diff. No issues works as it should and unlike whatever dummy that under fills these diffs when new, I put the proper amount in, which is the reason I swapped out the fluid in the first place.
  9. Auto climate tends to run the ac when it’s not necessary. Always hated that. It will run it to clear the window when it’s not needed. I’m not a genius but I’m still smart enough to adjust a knob from the red side to the blue side if I am hot. The more electronics the more issues. It’s apparent daily reading this forum.
  10. Auto Climate control is too annoying for me. I like the old dummy dial. It just works.
  11. I usually go ahead and paint the rotor along with the caliper when I’m down there. Two for one deal.
  12. Have him provide you with some facts to back up that outlandish claim. First I’ve heard of that.
  13. Was it using oil and you never checked it? A good friend of mine runs an oil change shop. It’s the norm he said that people go way way over their oci not the exception.
  14. I would never have installed them if it wasn’t for my short wife and little kids. I’m 6’1” and athletic and it’s nothing for me to get in without running boards and I like the look without them. I feel like I’m making this short little step into my truck with the running boards.
  15. Truxedo ProX15. I put it on in 2022 it’s just as good now as day one. Very low pro and made of nice material. A couple drops can get in up front and I mean only a couple during a big downpour but I don’t care about a couple drips. Never had things get wet inside.
  16. Just did a oil change on my high performance motorcycle which runs Amsoil for 3k although I change it sooner and no sparkle in the oil and I run it up to 12k plus rpm regularly not to mention it has to do double duty lubricating the clutch pack. The sheer forces must be extraordinary. If it’s good enough for that environment it’s way more than good enough for a lumber wagon truck that rarely if ever sees 5k rpm and it’s not dexos approved. Oh no.
  17. Welcome aboard.
  18. I personally wouldn’t give up my six passenger option. I use it semi regularly. I’ll be using it next week actually.
  19. Either way the location is far better on the column though imo. Up out of the way.
  20. Yeah that’s very true. My return trip was even better! The only metric that’s way off is cost for trip because I haven’t updated the price of gas for awhile.
  21. I did a 300mi drive for Easter weekend and scangauge showed 17.25. It was 17.7 before getting into the city area. I didn’t bother checking hand calc. Didn’t care enough. Ballpark close enough.
  22. Engine oil temp can be displayed on the 22 I have used the sg2 on mine and now a sg3.
  23. Mine is still silent. No squeaks or clunks so to me the new leaf springs fixed it.
