  4. Wow thanks for the offer, but unfortunately I live in Winnipeg. It's too bad gmpartsdirect didn't have their sh*t together because I would just order through them. They seem to have much better prices but their customer service seems awful. But again thanks for the offer. It's good to see there are people out there looking to help out fellow gm truck nuts!
  5. I got a quote from my local dealer and it was $636.85 for the wheel and $228.75 for the clock spring. With the pigtail etc, It'll cost me more than $900 to do this little mod! That sucks. I don't know why my parts quote was so high. It's probably because I live in Canada. We seem to get charged double for all that stuff. Anyway, unless I can find a cheaper source for the parts looks like I'll have another winter of cold hands ahead of me.
  6. That's awesome you got the parts! I don't have any friends at a dealer so I was hoping to get from gmpartsdirect. But too scared to get form them because of the problems that chusteveb is having. I contacted them weeks ago and asked them to verify what that part number was and never heard from them. It seems like their customer service is bad so good luck returning that wrong part they sent you chusteveb. Let us know how you make out.
  7. Thanks a lot for checking into this for all of us. I had a feeling that was the right part number because I saw it on several other sites. I saw a very detailed installation guide with pics either in this thread or on another site that showed exactly where they connected everything. I'll try to find that for you. Please let us know how it all works out when you get it. Also, it'd be great if you could let me know what it all cost you. Anyway, thanks again!!
  8. Has anyone made any progress with this? Winter is right around the corner and it gets cold here in Winnipeg. Lol. I would love to get a heated non wood ebony steering wheel and didn't think it would be this hard to find a part number but I haven't found one yet despite my searching.
  9. I've been checking around and I found an Avalanche site that also said that 20998064 was the heated/ non wood steering wheel and he had pics and everything. Strange that when ordered from gmpartsdirect a non heated one arrived. If anyone knows the part number of an ebony non wood steering wheel please post as I would love to install in my 2011 sierra SLE. Thanks.
  10. For any of you guys interested in getting an Advent OGM1. Here are the installation videos from Walt at ADC. Great product, great installation video, great service from Walt. There's also a ton of information and more videos on the ADC site but here they are anyway. LT model http://vimeo.com/35509815 LTZ model http://vimeo.com/29529451
